Provider Recognition Policy

This policy outlines the framework, criteria, and operational rules for organizations seeking to become an authorized AAPS Education and Learning Center (ELC).

Last Updated: October 24, 2023

1. Nature of AAPS Voluntary Recognition

AAPS Voluntary Recognition is a private quality assurance framework designed to identify training providers that meet AAPS standards for delivering preparatory programs. Recognized providers are authorized to use the title "AAPS Education and Learning Center (ELC)."

Important Legal Disclaimer

AAPS Voluntary Recognition is not official government accreditation, statutory licensing, or educational degree accreditation. It does not guarantee that the ELC's training will be recognized by government ministries or other educational institutions. It signifies only that the provider has met AAPS internal operational and instructional standards.

2. Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for AAPS recognition, an applying organization must demonstrate compliance with the following core criteria:

Operational Legality

The organization must be legally registered to operate as a training or educational provider in its respective jurisdiction and provide valid proof of incorporation.

Instructional Quality

ELCs must employ qualified instructors who hold relevant academic degrees or professional certifications, coupled with verified industry experience in the subjects they teach.

Facility & Technology

Providers must have adequate physical or virtual classrooms, training materials, and technical infrastructure to support the delivery of AAPS certification syllabi.

Data Protection

ELCs must comply with AAPS data privacy standards, ensuring that learner attendance and contact data are securely stored and not shared with unauthorized third parties.

3. Rights and Responsibilities of ELCs

Once recognized, an ELC enters into a formal agreement with AAPS. Under this agreement:

  • Right to Deliver Prep Programs: ELCs are authorized to market and deliver preparatory courses for specific AAPS certification schemes.
  • Logo Usage: ELCs may use the "AAPS Authorized ELC" logo strictly in accordance with the AAPS Brand Use Guidelines.
  • No Certificate Issuance: ELCs cannot issue AAPS certifications. They only prepare learners; the final assessment and credential issuance remain exclusively the right of AAPS.
  • Financial Independence: ELCs collect their own training fees directly from learners. AAPS does not control ELC pricing for preparatory courses.

4. Monitoring and Compliance

AAPS reserves the right to conduct periodic audits of recognized ELCs to ensure ongoing compliance with these standards. ELCs are required to maintain accurate records of learner attendance and instructor qualifications and must submit them to AAPS upon request.

If an ELC fails to maintain the required standards, provides false information, or misuses the AAPS brand, AAPS may issue a warning, suspend, or permanently terminate the recognition agreement.

5. Renewal of Recognition

AAPS Voluntary Recognition is valid for a period of 3 years. ELCs must apply for renewal before the expiration date, submitting updated operational documents and demonstrating continued compliance with AAPS standards.
